1. #1 Indiana 82, Georgetown 72 (OT) (Championship)indiana-georgetown
November 20, 2012
The first half was a wild, back-and-forth affair during which both teams combined to shoot 14-of-24 on 3-pointers and Indiana led 36-32 at the break. In the second half, Georgetown’s Otto Porter made a layup with 4.6 seconds to play in regulation that tied the game at 64. In overtime, Indiana’s Yogi Ferrell, who scored 14 for the game, had seven in overtime. His last points came on a 3-pointer he released just before the shot clock ran out, giving Indiana a 10-point lead with about a minute to go.

2. Florida 77, #2 Michigan State 74
November 27, 2009
Erving Walker scored 12 points in the second half and Dan Werner hit two free throws in the final seconds of regulation to lead Florida to a 77-74 victory over No. 2 Michigan State. Florida hit 22-of-25 from the line and six Gators combined for a season-high 11 steals against the Spartans.

3. #10 Syracuse 80, Georgia Tech 76 (Championship)
November 27, 2010
No.10 Syracuse used a 22-4 second-half scoring run to overcome a five-point deficit on its way to an 80-76 victory against Georgia Tech. Rick Jackson was named the tournament MVP after recording double-doubles in the semifinals and finals. Jackson scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds against Georgia Tech after recording 10 points and 12 rebounds against Michigan in the semifinals. Five Orange players scored in double figures, including Scoop Jardine, who recorded 15 points to go along with eight assists and two steals.

4. #12 Villanova 60, #19 Michigan 55 (Championship)

JayVaughn Pinkston stood tall in the final 13 seconds to help No. 12 Villanova rally past No. 19 Michigan, 60-55. Pinkston scored the go-ahead basket on a drive with 13 seconds left and came up with the game’s biggest play after Michigan inbounded the basketball trailing 56-55 with 7.8 seconds left. He soared to block the shot of Zac Irvin’s bid for the go-ahead basket and the Wildcats reclaimed possession. Four clutch free throws by Ryan Arcidiacono and a pair of defensive stops later and VU had itself a second consecutive gritty victory over a Top 25 opponent at Barclays Center.

5. St. John’s 87, VCU 86 (OT) (Championship)
November 20, 2018
Shamorie Ponds scored 35 points and had seven assists and seven steals as the Red Storm stormed from behind to beat VCU in overtime. Ponds was clutch down the stretch, hitting a layup with 28 seconds to go in regulation to put the Red Storm up 73-72 and then scoring eight points in overtime, including the game-winning lay-up with four seconds left. VCU, which led for 32 of the game’s 45 minutes, received 30 points from Isaac Vann.

6. Notre Dame 70, Northwestern 66 (Championship)
November 22, 2016
The Irish led by as many as 12 points, 48-36, with 18:01 to go in the game before Northwestern fought back to take a 61-58 lead on a Nathan Taphorn 3-pointer with 6:44 to play. The Wildcats increased their lead to six, 64-58, before Notre Dame took over, scoring 12 of the game’s final 14 points and taking the lead for good on Matt Farrell’s layup with 14 seconds to go.

7. Marquette 78, Arizona State 73 (OT) (Championship)
November 24, 2015
Henry Ellenson began 2-of-7 against ASU while dealing with a minor shin injury which required taping. When he was not getting taped, Ellenson made key plays down the stretch giving Marquette a 78-73 overtime win. Marquette never trailed in overtime after using a 12-2 run to rally from an eight-point deficit with about seven minutes remaining in regulation. Ellenson was among five in double figures for the Golden Eagles. He and Luke Fischer both had game highs of 18 points.


8. #18 Vanderbilt 64, Oregon State 62 (Championship)

Offensively, it was Brad Tinsley’s 15-foot jumper with 4.5 seconds left that gave No. 18 Vanderbilt a 64-62 victory over Oregon State. Defensively, Jeffery Taylor limited Oregon State’s Jared Cunningham, who had 35 and 37 points, respectively, in his previous two games, to just nine points on 3-for-9 shooting. Taylor added 13 points and Tinsley ended with nine.

9. #7 Tennessee 74, West Virginia 72

Chris Lofton scored 19 points to lead No. 7 Tennessee to a 74-72 victory over West Virginia. Lofton’s 3-point basket with 3:55 remaining gave the Vols a five-point lead, and free throws by Tyler Smith, Lofton, and JaJuan Smith down the stretch helped Tennessee keep the lead for good. West Virginia had a couple of opportunities to either tie or win the game late, but Da’Sean Butler missed a pair of jump shots with 55 and 27 seconds remaining. Only down three, the Mountaineers had another chance to tie the game with five seconds left but Alex Ruoff’s 3-point try was off the mark.

10. NC State 77, Texas 74

Fueled by a dramatic 28-2 run, NC State erased an 18-point second half deficit to outlast Texas at the buzzer, 77-74. After a miserable 9-of-26 shooting performance in the first half, the Wolfpack rebounded to the tune of 11-of-18 shooting from the field and a 3-of-5 showing from 3-point range. Three Wolfpack players finished in double figures, with C.J. Leslie leading with 17 points. The Wolfpack tied it up at 67-67, then ran away from the Longhorns, claiming a 75-67 lead to finish the incredible run with 2:58 remaining. Texas snapped out of its daze, but the Longhorns’ but Julien Lewis’ buzzer beater three fell short to send the Pack home with the win.
