No. 16 Texas A&M takes 84-65 Decision from UCSB

In College Station, D.J. Hogg scored 24 points and had six rebounds as Texas A&M never trailed in earning an 84-65 win over UCSB in the Progressive Legends Classic.

Hogg was joined in double figures by Admon Gilder who tallied 13 points and seven assists and Tonny Trocha-Morelos added 10 points.

The Aggies were 30-of-60 from the field and 11-of-22 from three.

As for the Gauchos, they were led by Max Heidegger and his 24 points. Gabe Vincent scored 12 points and Jalen Canty had 10 points and six rebounds.

Texas A&M will now travel to Brooklyn for the Championship Rounds of the Progressive Legends Classic, this Monday and Tuesday at Barclays Center. There they will face Oklahoma State and then either Penn State or Pittsburgh.

UCSB will head to the Subregional Rounds at Pepperdine where they will face the host Waves on Monday. They will then play either Oral Roberts or Montana the next night.
