Tickets on Sale for the 2023 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper

PRINCETON, N.J./BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Tickets for the 2023 Legends Classic, featuring Auburn, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and St Bonaventure will go on sale Wednesday, March 15 at 10:00am.

Three of the four teams in the 2023 Legends Classic presented by Old Trapper field return to the event. Auburn won the championship in 2019; Notre Dame won the 2016 championship; and Oklahoma State won the consolation game in 2017. St. Bonaventure will be making its first appearance in the event.

Auburn is 20-12 and earned a #9 seed in this year’s NCAA Tournament. Currently in his ninth season with the Tigers, Bruce Pearl, the 2021-22 SEC Coach of the Year, has guided Auburn to their 4th NCAA trip in his tenure, including a 2019 Final Four appearance.

Notre Dame

will have a new head coach for the first time in 24 years replacing the recently retired and all time winningest coach in program history, Mike Brey.

Oklahoma State

is 18-15 and earned a #1 seed in the NIT this season under the direction of head coach and Brooklyn native Mike Boynton, Jr. is in his sixth season with the Cowboys.

St. Bonaventure

will be competing to return to the NCAA Tournament. In his 16 years at the helm of the Bonnies, Mark Schmidt has recorded more wins (282) than the previous five St. Bonaventure coaches combined.

The 2022 Legends Classic was captured by Arizona State which, after beating VCU 63-59 in the semifinals, led from start to finish in a most convincing way in recording an 87-62 win over then-No. 20 Michigan in the championship game.
